At percorsoItaliano, we value experiences where students feel comfortable learning and practicing Italian beyond the classroom.
Traveling to Italy and spending time with Italians is the best way to be immersed in the language. At percorsoItaliano, we believe webinars & in-person workshops are the next best thing! Participants have the chance to listen to and speak Italian with our teachers and special guests.
These webinars & in-person workshops are hosted by our Italian teachers Roberta, Elisabetta, and Donatella, as well as, a diverse group of native Italian speakers. We’ve invited professionals from all walks of life including architects, opera singers, business owners, academics in cinema and history, artists, cooks, entrepreneurs, and many more.
We offer language, culture, and cooking workshops and webinars throughout the year.

ITALIA NEL CUORE: DALLA CUCINA ALLA TAVOLA

This summer our friend Marialucia Luongo came to Seattle from Perugia (Umbria) to spend time with us at percorsoItaliano and lead an in-person cooking workshop to celebrate the heart of Italian cuisine with its simplicity, creativity, and traditions.
In the kitchen, Marialucia prepared with us some of her beloved recipes to create "un gustoso menu estivo'' (a delicious summer menu).
After cooking together, we gathered around a beautifully set table to enjoy our pranzo (lunch), paired with wine.
Throughout the workshop, we spoke Italian.
What a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the language!

ATELIER DI MODA E STILE: Un pomeriggio di stile, creatività e italianità!

We spent a special afternoon with our friend Marialucia Luongo for an in-person workshop dedicated to Moda e Stile (Fashion and Style) on August 8.
It was a wonderful afternoon where participants learned how to choose clothes that reflect their personality, mix colors and fabrics, and create outfits with an Italian touch.
We spoke Italian throughout, making it a fun and creative way to immerse ourselves in the language.

For this Fall 2025 session of “LA MODA ITALIANA”, we’ve decided to celebrate Italy’s fashion by naming each language course after one of the many well known Italian designers (“stilisti italiani”) such as Armani, Valentino, Prada and Max Mara.
