The Fall 2026 session is dedicated to IL “MADE IN ITALY”. Our regular 9-week classes are named after one of the many well known Italian brands such as Ferrari, Bialetti, Lavazza and Artemide. 
Based on your level, you can also choose from our specialty classes like "Ciak! Si gira”, "In viaggio con i verbi". During all our classes, we will explore different Italian topics: arte, cinema, letteratura, moda, architettura, cucina e musica.

Description: Last spring, artificial intelligence expert Giovanni Marchetti presented a webinar on "Inventori e scienziati d'Italia".

During the lively Q&A, strong interest in artificial intelligence emerged among our students. He was delighted by this engagement and kindly offered to return to guide us through the world of AI. Giovanni will present a brief history of AI from the 1950s to today, along with practical applications and a reflection on its potential social impact. 

Join us on Friday, October 23 and have your computer ready if you would like to experiment with us. There will be time for a Q&A at the end.

A basic introduction to Italian for absolute beginners. In this 9-week class students will learn the fundamentals of Italian, including pronunciation, basic vocabulary, basic sentence structures, simple phrases, and greetings. During this class, students will also focus on the phrases and vocabulary that are essential for travel. This class lays the groundwork for further study, and it is also a great introduction to the Italian language for students planning a trip to Italy. 

After these 9 classes, students will be able to: 

• learn Italian pronunciation 

• use appropriate greetings 

• learn about Italian regions and cities 

• give personal information 

• discuss likes and dislikes 

• make plans and tell time 

• talk about belongings and family members using possessive adjectives

Italian prepositions may be small, but they are essential, and often one of the trickiest parts of learning the language. When do you use di, a, da, in, con, su, per, tra, fra? Why do some expressions seem to break the rules? 

In this course, students will learn and explore the many uses of Italian prepositions through authentic examples and practical activities. 

Throughout the course, you will learn how to: 

• use Italian prepositions with greater confidence and accuracy 

• avoid common mistakes 

• understand the subtle differences in meaning between similar prepositions 

• speak and write more naturally and fluently 

After this class students will be able to communicate more naturally in everyday Italian and avoid most common mistakes with prepositions.

DESCRIPTION:  

Practice your Italian through the creative language of literature. The approach to literature will stimulate students to understand the plot, to recognize the style and enhance creativeness in speaking and writing. The reading will be accompanied by interactive activities focused on comprehension, vocabulary, and conversation. After taking this course, students will feel encouraged to continue their own percorso in Italian literature.
